Lawrence CDC works to improve the City of Lawrence, Indiana and other areas of Marion County through economic development and redevelopment partnerships. We work with businesses, other non-profits, and government to get things done.
Our current and planned programs include community collaborations with:
•Community Alliance of the Far Eastside (CAFE) to promote quality of life and housing and economic development in our joint service area;
•Habitat for Humanity, to help new homeowners build and buy homes;
•City of Lawrence to acquire and redevelop tax-delinquent property;
•Lawrence Redevelopment Commission, to improve the Franklin Road and Pendleton Pike commercial corridors and assist with business retention and attraction efforts.
